Maximizing Functionality in Just 22 Square Meters
When designing a 22 sq.m rental apartment, the main challenge was to make every centimeter count.
Within this compact space, I needed to fit a kitchen area, dining zone, and bedroom, all while keeping in mind a tight budget and limited timeline.
The clients also requested not to change the wall colors or flooring, so I decided to bring life into the space through furniture and décor.
I chose a stylish and modern color combination of deep blue and terracotta, which adds warmth and character without overpowering the small area.
All the furniture pieces are practical and multifunctional, designed to make daily living comfortable and efficient.
We also made sure to integrate as much storage as possible - a key factor for small-space living.
Designing for rental interiors means balancing aesthetic appeal, durability, and functionality, and this project perfectly reflects that approach.
