This apartment was recently renovated for a young family working in IT and travelling a lot.

The 118 sq.m. space is located in the Kiev Sun Gate residential complex.

Despite the big size of the area the space was not so easy to work with. The original layout did not meet the requirements of the customers, and the lack of right angles (the apartments are in a radial house) did not simplify the work at all. But, despite all the constructive features, we managed to make a spacious bright place with well-defined functional areas.

We were inspired by Scandinavian aesthetic with its light walls, natural wood flooring and bright accents in furniture and decor.

First of all we connected the corridor with the open living area and the kitchen. Combining these rooms, we managed to make a spacious kitchen with a breakfast area (an island with a bar tabletop), a dining area and a large sofa in the TV area.

The master bedroom has a hotel-like feel. The wardrobe enclosed in black framed glass panels has become not just a functional necessity, but also an eye-catchy element.

In the home office room we made a playfull element – a big wooden cube with a podium. This place has become a favorite playing area among the young guests of the apartment owners.
